BVE 5 is under construction. Get out your Japanese translator and check this link. The biggest part of the update for me is the promised Windows Vista compatibility, though I solved that problem quite awhile back by adding the missing DLLs for Windows XP (see DLLs for Vista download here).

Trainz Simulator 2009 Close To Delivery
Now that the American elections are behind us I have some time to devote to train simulation.
The BIG news is that Auran's latest, Trainz Simulator 2009, is very close to delivery. You can read about it here and even pre-order it (which I just did) until November 25 at 10 AM GMT). The release is scheduled for November 26, at which time you will be able to download it (2.6 GB) or have your packaged hard copy delivered.
Take a look at the TS web page. The detail and realism look spectacular. At $29.95 USD, it looks like a huge bargain.
