New at the VR Reading Room: "White Mountain Winter, A Holiday Gift" by John D'Angelo. The gift includes a free snowy route and session at the VR Downloads page.
Enjoy, everyone, and have a great holiday season.

I have downloaded this holiday version and it appeared to install without errors, but I cannot find it anywhere in either Driver or Surveyor of TRS2006. I am a new TRS2006 user so perhaps I missed something suttle in the instructions.
Did you install both CDPs? There's one inside the outer folder and another inside the Route folder. You should see White Mountain Winter as a route in Surveyor and Driver. The route should have a sesion called Skiers Limited.
When I opened Surveyor or Driver, nothing showed up indicating either White mountain or Skiers Limited.
Through CMP, I was able to find the Skiers Limited in the Missing Dependancies tab, downloaded a few items and then it finished. However, launching TRS2006 generated the same No Map error. Back to CMP... I am now downloading about 64MB of content under the Skiers Limited Missing Dependencies tab - not sure why that is going on, but I will update this post after it completes? -WMM
The "No Map" error means you don't have Service Pack SP-1 installed. That's required by this route because the computer that was used to create/modify the route had it installed. You can get it free from Auran.
I ordered TRS2006 directly from AURAN and it came on a DVD. The package says it has SP1 installed. Is there some way to check that?
CMP says that I have 1 dependency missing White Mountain Winter. When I import it or double click on the asset from the download I get this message - Warning: Skipping asset "kuid:46429:100267" which is already open for edit.
Also, the 64MB download was for "Ski Train" which may not have been part of the offering but I let it run to completion.
When you start TRS2006 and select Start, the next screen that displays has the Build Number in the lower right-hand corner. It should say "Trainz version 2.6 (Build 3092)".
If you have an item open for edit you need to commit it. In CMP, go to the Open for Edit tab and select the item. Then right-click it and select Edit > Commit.
I opened the asset and commited it as instructed; exited from CMP and started TRS2006 - same result no White Mountain Winter.
Also, when I click on the missing dependencies tab, nothing is listed for White Mountain Winter - it is just not showing up on the list of routes and sessions. ???

However, the Ski Train route did show up as a route and session so everything else seems OK.
I don't know what to say. I just downloaded the package and reinstalled it. I still get White Mountain Winter as the route and Skier's Limited as the session.
On closer inspection of the missing dependencies tab in CMP I noticed 1 or 2 more items that were missing. Why I do not know, but after downloading them and rebooting, I now have the White Mountain Winter route and session.
T H A N K Y O U for your help!
I do not know why it did not install correctly from the beginning, but is working now and it looks beautiful too!

Could I have a corrupt file somewhere?
I appreciate your help and patience.
